2021 NEDiv Schedule Announced

The SCCA Northeast Division has released the 2021 schedule of events. This schedule includes Super Tour and Majors, as well as the NE Regional and Divisional Series events. Also listed are all schools and track events, Hillclimbs, as well as the Time Trials schedule. 2021 NEDiv Schedule - Excel 2021 NEDiv Schedule - PDF NE Divisional Series The 2021 NERRC Schedule has already been announced. The NEDiv Road Racing Championship schedule will include the following events: Summit Point April 24-25 NJMP - Lightning June 5-6 Lime Rock Park June 12-13 Watkins Glen July 3-4 NHMS Aug 7-8 Pitt Race Aug 28-29 Watkins Glen Sept 24-25 Thompson Oct 1-2 Nelson Ledges Oct 30-31 Majors/Super Tours The following Super Tour and Majors events are schedule for the Northeast Division. NEDiv Historic Racing Group 2020 Champions

Written By: Mike Harmuth HRG 2020 Season The season started almost two months late at Lime Rock in July and finished up at Watkins Glen in October.  Although we lost two events early this year we were able to get 7 points races in over 4 race weekends. There are 5 classes of cars effectively based on engine displacement, HRG-1 (under 1300cc) to HRG-5 (all V8s and larger). All the cars run on track at the same time but only score points within their group. About HRG The NEDiv Historic Racing Group ("HRG") is a committee, under the Northeast Division of the Sports Car Club of America, Inc.,  which governs wheel to wheel racing for the SCCA accepted series formerly known as the Volvo Historic Series. The Group is not associated with any one region but is part of the Northeast Division of the SCCA. The Group shall abide by the SCCA by-laws of the current GCR, the Historic GCR and any guidelines as set forth in the Group's regulations which are accepted by the SCCA National Office.
