On September 19th the Connecticut Autocross and Rally team and NER held the first time trial of the season. The event was well attended with 42 competitors, some very talented seasoned drivers and many novices alike.

Some drivers took the opportunity to use this event to shake down for the National Time Trials in Kentucky the following week. A blazing fast FTD was set by Lai Ranjan with a 1:16.992 in his S2 class Porche. Overall, every run group showed a great competitive spirit, drove with courtesy, and had an incident free track day. The new gridded time attack and time trial format CART tested proved to provide lots of space on track and left plenty of time for open lapping at the end of the day.
